I listen to about 8-9 million words in Pocket every year (yeah, maybe too much) and I don't even pay for the pro account because I can't in good conscience pay for something that only has incidental accessibility. Instapaper then saves it for you, and makes it available in a beautiful, uncluttered, reading-optimized format on your mobile phone, your tablet, your Kindle, or your browser. Mozilla is supposed to be one of the good ones but this app doesn't need much work to be accessible and they've shown very little interest in doing that work. With Instapaper, you simply push a button in your browser, or choose send to Instapaper in a linked mobile app. That was about a year ago and I've seen no progress. The link will arrive in your list momentarily. (If you started by sharing a link, it should already be included.) Send the message. Type or paste the link you want to save in the Body of the email. You can send all long office emails and newsletters to your Instapaper email address and use TTS to go through them quickly. The drop-down window that pops up should include the newsletter sender (or a string that starts with list: ). I actually did a phone call with someone at Mozilla after they acquired Pocket to talk about accessibility and features. Compose a new email message (or select your preferred email app when sharing a link). Hit the three-dot button on the top menu, and select Filter messages like these. Another option is to use Pocket and then import all the articles into Voice Dream Reader and listen to them in there, I fall back to that if Pocket is being particularly flaky. You can add your email to pull your newsletters into the app follow specific Twitter writers using email, Pocket, or Instapaper browse the staff picks or send your articles to Kindle or Notion. From Gmail to Outlook, spam is a growing problem in our inboxes. I've gotten used to it, though, just ignore all the fake buttons that appear (I know).
